ald1’s leader is lee leo? the member who got dragged the most is the one leading now?

dear allyz, now that leo is confirmed as our leader, i know many of us are genuinely happy and excited about it. at the same time, it is also fair that some fans feel conflicted. not every concern comes from hate, sometimes it comes from fear and worry. some are scared that his past might impact the group, or wonder if someone who received so much hate can handle the pressure of standing in front. those feelings come from wanting the best for the boys and the fandom, and they are valid emotions many can understand.

but i hope we can look at leo with fairness and open hearts.

to address the biggest elephant in the room, yes, he did make a mistake in the past. but what matters more is what he did after. he acknowledged it, learned from it, and grew. this is everything we always say we want from idols. leo did not run, he did not deny, and he did not blame others. he faced the consequences, reflected deeply, and came back stronger. that alone deserves respect, not the endless hate he still receives today.

if there was a moment that said everything, it was during his final speech, when he hesitantly said, “supporting me might not have been easy.” hearing that was heartbreaking because it meant he knew. he understood how hard his fans fought for him, defending him, shielding him, carrying hate they never deserved. he has always been aware of the burden his fans carried, and yet he stayed grateful, never stopped thanking those who stood by him.

one thing you should know is that you do not need to stan him. nobody is asking you to change your bias or love him more than your favorite member. all we ask is kindness. he has gone through enough. he has suffered more than most people will ever know, and sometimes kindness is all a person needs to keep going.

people on the outside will keep talking, but one thing we must remember is that they are not allyz. they do not know his character, his effort, or his sincerity, but we do. everyone who has worked with him or met him describes him as gentle, polite, and caring. on b2p, he got along with every contestant, staff member, and person behind the scenes. during his solo era, he always reated fans with warmth and gratitude.

now that he has been chosen as the leader of ald1, i truly believe he will take care of junseo, arno, geonwoo, sangwon, xinlong, anxin, and sanghyeon with responsibility, love, and pride. he has always supported the people around him, and i know he will protect and guide his members, and us allyz, with the same sincerity.

that is why i am asking from the bottom of my heart, please forgive him. let go of the past and accept him. i am saying this not just because i am a leoz, it is because i genuinely believe 100% that he is a good person. he has proven it through his actions, his growth, and his strength.

we do not all have to stan the same member, but we can choose unity and kindness. the boys need us together, not divided. they deserve a fandom that lifts them up, not one that repeats the negativity the world throws at them. and if leo can find the strength to stand in front of us despite everything, then we can find the strength to stand behind him.

let us choose to be a fandom that heals, not hurts. our boys are finally starting a new chapter, so let us make sure they begin it surrounded by love. 🤍
