And the fears that now annoy
Shall be laughter on the morrow.
Christ, I suffer here with Thee;
There, oh, share Thy joy with me!

Let us ever walk with Jesus,
Follow His example pure,
Flee the world, which would deceive us
And to sin our souls allure.
Ever in His footsteps treading,
Body here, yet soul above,
Full of faith and hope and love,
Let us do the Father’s bidding.
Faithful Lord, abide with me;
…
Savior, lead, I follow Thee.
Let us suffer here with Jesus,
To His image e’er conform;
Heaven’s glory soon will please us,
Sunshine follow on the storm.

“Jesus said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, relies on) Me [as Savior] will live even if he dies; and everyone who lives and believes in Me [as Savior] will never die. Do you believe this?””
John 11:25-26
Remembering Dad today. Crazy how it’s been 17 years since I/we’ve last spoke to/seen him/laughed with him/hugged and kissed him. I still find much joy and fulfillment in nature as he did and am incredibly thankful (as I’ve said before) to be in a place I know HE loved.
I think of him while here and remember him loving Minnesota surroundings as much as I do. It is special and a true joy.
Miss you daily and love you always, Daddy. Your memory is carried in my mind and your love in my heart. Until we see each other again!!
