Like you have a point, but it's like pointing fingers at someone doing something everyone else is doing, including you, with no solution to stop it.

It is all harmful to the environment; even the act of paving walkways is detrimental. As much as we optimize, our effect will never be 0.

The water will go back to the earth as water. But most people are more focused on what we can mitigate from our footprint.
