BREAKING: The Los Angeles Lakers are acquiring Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz for unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033 and first-round swaps in 2028 and 2030, sources tell ESPN. Kessler will sign a massive four-year, $130 million deal with the Lakers.
Been a Laker fan since about 1998. I’m as big of a Kobe stan as you can be. I HATED Lebron most of his career.
After watching Bron these LA years I have nothing but respect for him. Still underrated by his haters.
I’ll always salute for winning that chip after Kobe died 🫡

Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.
In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.
Really impressed how the Lakers played for 3 quarters.
Physical defense, turnovers and good double teams kept us in reach.
Austin Reaves inability to have a DECENT offensive night killed them.
As the 2nd option, Reaves needs to bring way more.
Perfect game to steal: WASTED.

Matt Bonner, who was on the Raptors when Kobe Bryant dropped 81 points on them, does not think Bam Adebayo’s 83-point game is as impressive as Kobe’s 81:
“When someone has a game like that, you want to think they were on fire, or they were in the zone, and with Bam, he was 7-22 from 3. If someone was 7-22 from 3, I’m closing out, sure, I’m not like, ‘this guy’s a threat to break the 2nd-most points in a game.’”
“It’s a fun story, but apples and oranges if you’re comparing it to Kobe.”
“When I think of greatest performances in NBA history, that’s what I picture (Kobe 81), not someone who shot 7-22 from 3, under 50% from the floor, and 42 free throws.”

Ime Udoka on Bam Adebayo's 83 point night:
"First thing you think is how...... not because of him but because of the way he plays. I saw he only made 6 threes but 40 free throws or something like that, tells the story right there and.............. the Washington Wizards."
ESPN sources: Rams and Trent McDuffie reached agreement today on a record four-year, $124 million extension that includes $100 million guaranteed and makes him the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history. McDuffie gets a trade and a new deal days apart as the Rams and CAA Football finalize the agreement.
