The UAE's decision to leave OPEC is the most significant blow it has dealt to Saudi Arabia and the entire GCC since the Saudi Emirati rivalry. Thus far, Saudi Arabia has avoided responding to UAE provocations but may not be able to after this.
The OPEC issue is significant but has been overshadowed by other geopolitical issues. Saudi Arabia, the de facto leader of OPEC cartel, has kept production low for some time to keep prices up, producing 9 million barrels per day while the UAE was allocated 2.9 million. The UAE wanted to increase to 3.7 million. Saudis need inflated oil prices, at least 86 dollars per barrel, to avoid budget deficits and sustain their welfare state and economic transition under Vision 2030. The Emirates, by contrast, have a more diverse economy.
With the UAE, OPEC's third largest producer at 15 percent, leaving, the group will struggle to maintain its monopoly over global oil supply and thus prices. The Emirates will eventually join the US, which intends to liberalise the oil market while positioning itself as a major producer. This will further strain US ties with the Saudi led GCC (without UAE), since all GCC economies except the UAE are heavily dependent on oil revenues.
The logical continuation of this step will likely lead to the UAE's expulsion from the GCC and Arab League, accelerating a new order in the Middle East and broader Muslim world.

REHAB CENTRE BOMBING
When it comes to any conflict, it's always very difficult to find the truth, especially in the case of AF-Pak. Officials from both countries have a history of false claims and exaggerating figures. Nevertheless, journalistic freedom itself is a huge problem in this region.
Let's follow the basic rule of the 5 Ws and 1H.
This would offer the answer to the "DELIBERATELY" as well as the "Targeted location", and its impact.
Firstly, Pakistan has been carrying out strikes across Afghanistan for the last few weeks, mostly targeting Former NATO bases, arms and ammunition depots and several other military facilities. Just last week, the Bagram airbase was targeted.
Last night, Pakistan carried out strikes at two locations in Kabul.
1.📍Siah Sang military sector or Syasang base.
Coordinates: 34.509799, 69.210591
The visual evidence backed by Geo-location confirmed the targeted site. The secondaries and flames are clearly visible, enough to conclude that it was an ammunition or arms depot.

2. 📍Former NATO base Camp Phoenix / Rehabilitation centre
Coordinates 34°32'52.15"N 69°15'29.27"E
- After the US withdrawal, a rehabilitation centre was established at one of the sections of the military complex.
- From the footage of the strike released by Pakistan, apparently, Pakistan targeted 3 buildings inside the complex, all close to the Rehab. I quoted them in the attached Reference picture.
- From the footage, it appears that one of those 3 had ammunition/explosives, as secondaries are visible in the footage, which likely caused fire close to the Rehabilitation centre.
- 0:18 Seconds onward (Secondaries...)

Currently, we don't have enough evidence yet to suggest that the Rehab was the intended or direct target. Only an Independent International inquiry would provide conclusive answers, but here are a few comments and questions.
1. Why did the Taliban establish a rehabilitation centre inside a military complex? Did they have ammunition or weapons depots close to Rehab? Are other sections of the complex used for military purposes? Why haven't they shared any information about the strike at other bases?
2. Did Pakistan have prior knowledge about the Presence of the rehabilitation centre inside the complex? Did they consider the factor of proportionality and proximity?
In either case, there can be no legal justification for the tragic incident. If they knew, then it's a military atrocity
and a serious violation of international humanitarian law. If they didn't, then it's criminal negligence.
Nevertheless, there are several other aspects.
First, the media framing and overall narrative.
BBC, Reuters, Al-Jazeera, and almost all major mainstream media outlets, in their reports on this tragic incident, have omitted the reference to the second strike at Syasang base, let alone any detail or context of the ongoing air campaign.
Being a journalist, I would tell you why that is necessary.
If the two airstrikes are part of the same operation, same timeline, or military campaign, omitting mention of the other distorts the overall picture; it denies the much-needed context. This does not justify or make the tragic incident any more acceptable, but it offers insights into intent, scale, and pattern.
The framing creates an impression that it was a deliberate targeting of the rehabilitation centre. This is why the majority of them did not even mention that the rehabilitation centre is inside a section of the military complex, also previously known as Camp Phoenix.
Lastly, instead of denying the strikes, Pakistan immediately released the footage, which suggests that they were completely unaware of the existence or of the damage to the rehabilitation camp inside the complex. Otherwise, releasing such footage can be cited as evidence in legal proceedings at the international level in the future.
The pattern of strikes both before and on that day also suggests that it was part of an ongoing air campaign targeting the former NATO facilities, especially arms depots, ammunition storage, etc., and it wasn't an intentional targeting of the Rehab facility.
This is my understanding based on the order of events and the limited available data. Rest, only an independent inquiry can share the real facts and story.

Reuters confirmed that the elementary school in the Iranian city of Minab was bombed TWICE by the US military, 40 minutes apart.
This was intentional. You don't "accidentally" bomb a school TWO TIMES.
168 children and 14 teachers were killed. It was a massacre.
On August 6, 1945, after the American atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, a black rain was created by the mushroom cloud as smoke, ash, and debris rose into the atmosphere. This radioactive black rain caused the gradual deaths of many innocent people in the following decades, particularly from leukemia and thyroid cancer.
Eighty years later, today, following the American bombing of fuel storage facilities in Tehran, the city and its people are experiencing an acidic rain whose future consequences are unknown and which may claim lives through suffering and disease in the years to come.
Weren’t we promised that there would never be another Hiroshima?
