Seems increasingly possible that the New Atlantis is singlehandedly going to bring down MAID. It's wild how tenuous the moral framework of government euthanasia is.
A notable tidbit: euthanizing a minor in Ontario, though it is illegal, is not deemed serious enough by the Chief Coroner to automatically inform police.
When we asked why, the Coroner said our question prompted him to reflect and decide they should change the policy.
New online — Ontario’s euthanasia regulators have tracked 428 cases of possible criminal violations, and not referred a single one to law enforcement.

Deeply honored to have two poems appearing in @Hopkins_Review issue 17.4 along with a wonderful group of writers!
Many thanks to the Hopkins Review team and Gioncarlo Valentine for such a beautiful publication.
