Waimea Bay on the north shore of Oahu is EMPTY right now with the tsunami expected to hit in just over an hour and a half.
Except for one lone paddle boarder.

The most realistic output of making it on YouTube (not counting shorts)
Is making 700-1500 videos of the course of 5-7 years.
Most people can’t make “bangers” and most of the biggest creators make flops for 5+ years that nobody watched, and has failed channels before making it…
The sheer size of the SpaceX Starship/SuperHeavy stack.
At 120 meters (390 feet) in height and with a liftoff mass of 5,000 metric tons (11,000,000 pounds), Starship is the largest and most powerful rocket ever built and flown.
Humans for scale.
if for some reason someone on here knows anything about bonded storage in south america, i'm trying to figure out how to legally store a motorcycle in colombia for a year and bonded storage seems like the best option
i'm aware this is a long shot lol
I think about this video often, but even more lately as a founder, creator…
Imagine you are Anthony Bourdain (RIP).
You’ve eaten everywhere. Chefs worship you.
But there is one place you’ve never been: Waffle House
You enter, a bit lost, menu in hand.
It's unfamiliar territory, even for a legend like you. Butterflies in your stomach even.
But then, something clicks. It feels like home.
So you look at the menu and literally have no idea what to order.
Luckily, you have Sean Brock one of the most famous Southern chefs of all time, showing you the ropes in a Southern staple.
He tells you to get a pecan waffle to start.
Your mind is blown. You would have never done that.
Then Sean puts a pile of butter on the waffle and maple syrup. You go all in. When in Rome. You drown your poor waffle in some fake maple syrup.
David says: I want it to be swimming in maple syrup and hydrogenated vegetable oil”
This would give a wellness influencer a heart attack. Agree?
You conclude: “Waffle House is better than the French Laundry, man”.
Saying that probably offended every Michelin-star restaurant out there. But you didn't care.
You just said out loud what felt true.
For us founders and creators, this is pure gold. Bourdain kept it real.
He didn't mind ruffling a few feathers. That's what made him stand out, got people talking, and be loved by millions.
2024 is screaming for more of this - authenticity, comfort, the 'Waffle House vibe' in our creations.
Content that feels like chatting with a friend, products that feel familiar from the get-go.
I call them comfort creators, comfort products. I'll share more of this in future newsletter post (link in bio to subscribe)
Or as Bourdain calls Waffle House “magical, spiritual places”.
I hope this video meant as much to you as it did to me.
RIP Anthony. You’re still teaching us down here.
I hope the drinks are good wherever you are.
To the entrepreneurs, creators reading this:
This is your 2024 energy.
Go get 'em.

The most important film I've made contrasting the priorities of our society
A deeper story within if you follow it...
A dystopian feeling
Still gives me goosebumps
