Some people in your life have never seen you at your full capacity. They met you in a hard season, a transitional moment, a version of you still being built. Do not let their limited experience of you become your ceiling. You are more than the chapter they witnessed.
My advice to anyone starting out:
Develop a very strong opinion about yourself.
Know exactly who you are & who you are not.
If you don't, someone else will try to tell you who you are, and you might just start believing them.
WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU AFRAID OF
- Death : We’re all gonna die.
- Bankruptcy : You can make it all back.
- Shame : Everyone will forget in a week.
- Rejection : It happens to everyone.
- Failure : It’s part of the path.
- Judgment : They’ll judge anyway.
- Losing people : Not all are meant to stay.
- Making mistakes : You’ll survive them.
- Taking risks : Regret hurts more.
Live every day like it's your last day.
What happens when you die:
They divide up your shit.
They summarize your life in 500-1000 words.
People who knew you less say sorry to people who knew you more.
Everyone eats, drives home, and wakes up the next day and goes to work.
Whatever you’re worried about won’t be in those 500 words.
You can dare greatly or not at all, but you’re gonna die either way.
Might as well squeeze every motherfucking drop out.
