A former Canadian NDP MP is running a YouTube channel called MeidasCanada “Powered by MeidasTouch Network.”
MeidasTouch is a Soros-backed American political media operation classified as hyper-partisan left by Ad Fontes Media.
These are the same people who often accuse anyone on the right as being “foreign interference”, “paid for”, and try to cast doubt and suspicion on the motives of anyone who has a different political leaning.
The Canada Elections Act bans foreign entities from spending money to influence Canadian elections.
I have questions.
Last Monday in Montréal, a Communist revolutionary attempting to execute a mass-casualty event was mercifully intercepted by Montréal police in the early stages of an active-shooter attack.
Though the rapid police engagement likely prevented a far greater death toll, one civilian was killed, another was wounded, one police officer was killed, another almost died, and a community was left devastated and traumatised by a Marxist terrorist attack.
Only two days later, an arson attack was perpetrated against @acormierd while he was at a St-Jean-Baptiste event in Quebec City.
His vehicle is a total loss.
This act of violent intimidation occurred in a densely populated area of Quebec City, where historic homes are built with wood materials. There was a tree in close proximity. The fire could easily have spread.
Cormier-Denis had already been targeted by Antifa only a month ago, when dozens of masked cowards gang-swarmed him in his car as he arrived at his studio parking lot.
The Antifa militants prevented him from exiting his vehicle, vandalised his car with stickers featuring violent imagery, and chased him as he drove to the local police station to report the gang-swarming.
Why have they been targeting him?
Firstly, because they don’t like his ideas.
Secondly, because they know they will get away with it.
But this is not just about one commentator.
Last November, @guillaum3roy of Rebel News was assaulted by an Antifa militant. The militant grabbed his heavy backpack with his camera equipment in it and pulled him to the ground. Roy required four stitches on his elbow for the gash.
And Antifa don’t just target men.
Journalist Alexandra Lavoie of Rebel News has been followed, intimidated, harassed, and assaulted more times than I can count. Including in my presence.
Alexa was reporting on a Church worship night when the event was disrupted by an Antifa activist who threw smoke bombs at Sean Feucht, the performer.
@ThevoiceAlexa tracked down Gabriel Lepage, the militant who threw the smoke bombs. In so doing, she uncovered a suspected Antifa cell inside the Canadian Department of National Defence.
To my knowledge, the police cancelled their meeting with @ThevoiceAlexa about Lepage, and nothing has been done.
At the municipal level, Transition Montréal ran candidate Sergio Da Silva despite his long history of posting disturbing and violent content online, including statements that endorse or joke about killing political opponents.
Examples include comments about being “allowed to kill” people who use the term “woke” politically, “murder your local transphobes,” and killing politicians who are not sufficiently committed to climate or public housing plans.
Da Silva has a “Bella Ciao” tattoo on his throat. After Charlie Kirk’s death, Da Silva posted: “I guess people will stop asking about the Bella Ciao tattoo on my throat. Or maybe they won’t...”
Bella Ciao lyrics were etched on the bullet casings recovered in the Kirk murder investigation. Another of Da Silva’s posts referenced stealing a gun from a police officer.
In the United States and Europe, Antifa radicals have assaulted and even murdered their political opponents. Arrests are rare.
The legacy media barely reports on them.
In contrast, Rachel Gilmore surprised a neo-Nazi in a bar, he made a confused face, and we heard about them crossing paths for a month across legacy media.
Why isn’t legacy media reporting on the literal radical Marxist terrorists who are now intimidating, attacking, and even murdering journalists, commentators, and police officers on our streets?
If the state continues to ignore left-wing violence and refuses to designate Antifa as the terrorist organization they most certainly are, then we can only conclude that Marxist terrorism is not a concern of the state.
Not because the threat is unseen.
But maybe because the victims are perceived as acceptable targets.
This was just on TV, while the CTV host was live on air in Toronto, look over her shoulder, a guy with his junk hanging out walking by.
This guy is no doubt walking near children at some point.
Canadian Police Chiefs: Our officers are using police databases to meet women by running their license plates in the system and finding their info.
Also Canadian Police Chiefs: We absolutely NEED laws that force companies to keep databases about all Canadians! For uh... safety!
READ HIS MANIFESTO: The Montreal murderer was a Jew-hating Communist censor
The murderer in Montreal has been named: Seth Hatfield, from Alberta. He murdered a policeman in a shooting spree in a Jewish neighbourhood in Montreal.
Soon afterwards, government journalists at the CBC and elsewhere started describing a manifesto that he had left behind. But none of them published the actual document — they just quoted the odd phrase from it, and called him an “incel”. That’s a term for someone who was “involuntarily celibate”, or someone who didn’t do well with women. The usual suspects were doing the media circuit claiming that Hatfield was a “right wing” extremist.
But if that was true, why was the manifesto being shown only to selected, government-friendly journalists? Why were the rest of us blocked from seeing it for ourselves?
Well, that just changed. Rebel News has acquired a copy of the full, 104-page manifesto. You can read it for yourself right here: https://t.co/fAYaqOVZZe
It’s true that the murderer had extreme ideas about women. But that was only a small part of his world view. In most of the rest of his rambling remarks, he was indistinguishable from left-wing politicians like Bernie Sanders, Avi Lewis, or half the Liberal cabinet.
He praised Communism. He called for the abolition of private property. He railed against the Jews, and Zionism. And — like Mark Carney himself — he demanded the censorship of the Internet.
Read the manifesto of a crazed, left-wing extremist.
And never forget: the mainstream media lies to you about everything important.
If Nathan MacKinnon won a gold medal with Canada, would people and media in Colorado also harass him out of the country?
@FriedgeHNIC describing how crazy it got in Ottawa post Olympics is bonkers.
People need to understand that what happened to US players based in Canada post Olympics was NOT OK.
They deserved none of it.
We are now watching the results of that nonsense with Quinn, Brady and possibly with Hellebuyck and Matthews.
I have one reason to watch NASCAR next year and it's not even Cup
That said... If Prime could/would take over Cup full season, it'd save A LOT of people $90+/month (Internet not included)
It's had some of the best coverage and chemistry (with less than 10 races under it's belt) NASCAR's seen, with room to grow
It presents NASCAR as a serious Professional Sport while also making it fun, not a circus acting as a professional sport that turns true race fans away and feels off or staged
CW and Prime really give NASCAR the stage it deserves
Or hear me out, Americans don't enjoy getting their anthem booed?
Acting like this just started happening after the Olympics because the US won is ridiculous framing
It's becoming quite clear from the reports of Elliotte/Lebrun that Team USA players on Canadian teams did not take kindly to the booing post-Olympics.
The reaction was a little over the top at times, but were they expecting Canadians to cheer a USA gold medal? A bit soft imo...
Samuel de Champlain was one of Canada’s greatest founders. This tearing down of statues must end.
Instead, we must celebrate the history of Canada.
Tell our stories, sing our songs, and remember those who built this great country we call home.
That is how we will build up an even stronger Canada.
@tobi Weird how there is little to no coverage in state controlled media like @globeandmail@CBC and @TorontoStar … you’d think this would be front page news in a functioning democracy that values free speech and liberty.
This Liberal govt is causing us to lose our traditions.
No more Snowbirds
No more Saturday Hockey Nights
No more Christmas pageants
The list goes on …do you see what’s happening…
C-34 & C-36 remove your ability to post anonymously.
C-22 reduces the threshold for a production order for your information & data to "reasonable grounds to suspect."
And the MOU signed with Chinese authorities compels the sharing of information and data.
Connect the dots.
These bills, along with C-22 and C-9 constitute a total erosion in Canada’s basic liberties. They interlock into making Canada essentially unviable for those with choices on where to build.
VPN companies will leave Canada. The government will force companies to retain your data for one year. The legal threshold for police access to your data will be lowered. Meanwhile, the federal government is cancelling all debate on Bill C-22, the Lawful Access Act, in order to pass this legislation before Parliament adjourns on Friday, June 19. Now, more than ever before, Canadians who care about privacy must urge their Members of Parliament to defeat Bill C-22. This is a critical moment in our history: will Canada be a free nation or a surveillance state? Canadians have defeated "lawful access" legislation before, and we must do so again.

I wonder why Mark Carney and the ‘Liberal’ party exempted Bluesky from the youth social media ban. Must be a coincidence. I do not want to hear it was because that platform perfectly aligned with their preferred ideology! That is a monstrous conspiracy!
Oh btw U.K, and Australia also exempted them. Coincidence!
Justin Gaethje was literally in the Oval Office before his fight, looking at the actual Declaration of Independence.
Then he walked out as a 6-to-1 underdog and beat the piss out of his opponent to win the first undisputed championship of his career.
I genuinely don't care what your politics are. That's one of the coolest sequences of events I've ever seen in sports.
Am I really supposed to think this isn't awesome because people decided to make it political?
Elbows Up Canadian fans booed the US flag at the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony.
Tonight at UFC Freedom 250, American fans proudly sang the Canadian national anthem for Aiemann Zahabi.
This is how you respect a flag.
This is real class and sportsmanship.
Those classless Canadians that followed Justin Trudeau’s direction to boo the US National
Anthem could learn a lot from Americans. 🇨🇦🇺🇸👏
