@RealEstateByKip@edgaralandough 4. Watch a over video on every book of the Bible you read to help you understand the backgroud/context. https://t.co/f1rN0DdUFT
@RealEstateByKip@edgaralandough 1. Order a niv study Bible online.
2. Start in the New testament, read 1 chapter per day (quantity over quality.) Maybe a few chapters if you make time.
3. After each chapter, think about it and jot down any thoughts/ questions you have in a journal or note app.
@TheLaurenChen Acts 2:18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
If women can't share in public, or in a church, its kinda hard to follow scripture...
@JustinJDean@CTmagazine X is not letting me post a pic for some reason. CT has posted obituaries for well known Christians with the exact same phrase for a while: "Died: so and so." Its odd wording to my ears, but it's not unique to Charlie. They also published this article
@NeilShenvi A verse without context is pretext...that's why we should read whole books/passages together. So. If someone posted an odd sentence from the Bible (and yes there are plenty) I understand why one might bristle.
Men are funny because you can ask one what his best friend does for work and he’ll be like “I don’t know” meanwhile they’ve known each other for 20 years and talk every day
@KevinOConnorNBA @ChrisMFFL569 Billups didn't make an all star or all nba team until AFTER they won the finals. Wallace was 3 years removed from his last all star birth, never made all nba. This is the only team to ever win w/o a top 15 player.
