Twitter was already destroyed when Mr. Musk acquired it. Now it's only "half-destroyed" (i.e. it's better but not right). Limiting reach and charging money for better service is not a town square and not free speech as is promised.
@christopherrufo@JimLaneRational
I appreciate the sentiment but I'm not sure the strategy will work. It's a religion for them. They need to be challenged internally by anti-DEI hires. Not conservative hires but anti-DEI hires. Hires should be based on anti-DEI statements.
@SwipeWright@JimLaneRational
The DEI hired need to be DEI fired.
I mean that.
It's the only compensation for the white males that never got a chance.
A hire from the DEI era should be like a scarlet letter.
@DrRitaDed@JimLaneRational
I'm an agnostic and Merry Christmas.
Whether factually correct or not, it's a good time with good food and good intentions.
Either way, I'm okay with it. Go with the flow.
Christmas is to be enjoyed.
@politvidchannel@JimLaneRational
Then he shouldn't go there.
But it would be interesting if they tried to jail him.
They might be biting off more than they can chew.
@queenie4rmnola@JimLaneRational
White people fought the Civil War and ended slavery. And I robbed no one of anything yet I'm expected to suffer for things that never had anything to do with me?
Anti-racism is racism. All it produces is more racism.
Works both ways.
@itsrosesm@JimLaneRational
Many factors. Bottom line: it just isn't worth it anymore. In the past, women tried to "land a man". Look at old TV shows. Men pursue women for sex. Now they watch porn/play video games. Women don't respect men; earn their own money. So why bother.
@RmSalih@JimLaneRational
Race wars started with DEI.
CRT demanded everything be seen through the lens of racism. Well congratulations, now it is. White males are seeing exactly how they were treated and how their lives have been harmed by those who forced them to lose jobs.
@GuntherEagleman@JimLaneRational
I don't care if slavery WAS a problem a century ago or whatever. I had nothing to do with it. And the white people who fought the Civil War to end slavery probably wouldn't have bothered if they saw the ingratitude a century later.
@martianwyrdlord@JimLaneRational
It's not just "young white men".
Older white men are just as susceptible to DEI discrimination as "young white men".
I would not even look for a position due to a DEI requirement stating support for DEI.
I saw DEI for what it was long ago.
Now? Too late.
@HBrandstaetter@JimLaneRational
When there is no First Amendment, Europe controls speech. This is unacceptable. What is worse is Europe tried to export that type of control to the United States. I consider that an attack.
@elonmusk@beffjezos@JimLaneRational
There is plenty of energy out there; it's just not mastered to effect. When there is enough energy for everyone all the time, it will no longer be a currency.
@EuroDale@JimLaneRational
The process was poisoned long before DEI. In fact, DEI is a mask now for wanting to return to "before DEI" when "before DEI" was also extremely corrupt in academia. That's why DEI took off so easily; academia was already poisoned w/ pure egoistic self-interest.
@greta@JimLaneRational
Because privacy is a precious thing and a natural right. Not everyone is social or puts their name out there. You were/are on TV. You have nothing to lose already. Society is a mass of herd animals that will tear loners apart. Why don't you give them your SS#?
