Remember when American presidents appreciated Canada and the bond between their two nations?
How times have changed and IQs of presidents have plummeted. Just sayin’

FORMER KLF CHIEF OF STAFF CHRIS DELANEY SHARES HIS VIEWS ON "NATIVES"
So it was just announced that @KerryLynneFindl has accepted the resignation of her former Chief of Staff Chris Delaney about half an hour ago. The main story going around is that he tendered it because of the succession of MLA departures.
The reality is, he knew this recording of him speaking to his staff was coming out via the Findlay Files, complete with lovely quotes like the following:
"Because the Natives on the Prairies would make pemmican...and they'd tell the stories about how there wasn't enough pemmican. And the winter would go on too long. They'd starve."
"If that ever happened once to white people, they would make twice as much pemmican...instead of dead bodies, right?"
"It was actually the white men that taught them conservation. They didn't really know about conservation."
Yesterday, @Shuswapland defended the disgusting racist rants of @realmaxgenest. Today, we find out the former Chief of Staff's views on Indigenous peoples - opinions that Delaney decided to pontificate about to those who answered to him while still serving in the role.
This is who they are. This is the type of administration that KLF presides over.
And this is why her, and everyone associated with her, are not only unfit to govern, but quite frankly, unworthy of holding public office.
Listen for yourself, and assess accordingly.
@Alex_S_Cullen I hope whomever is running against your wife gets destroyed by this.. you crossed personal lines first.. especially the gay part.. wow!!!!
@Alex_S_Cullen Why didn’t your wife bring motions against him if we are crossing personal boundaries? I’m not a fan of his professionally but I’m not a big fan of yours either professionally
@MICHAELCTV I don’t have any love for Jim for his work life but you were commenting on personal.. he was over the line why didn’t Alex wife bring a motion to sanction him? Or stop the j Watson day.. his beef is with his wife
I’m on a VIA train that just collided with a car at Fallowfield - just west of the station. We came to a sudden stop but no injuries on the train. Occupant of the car apparently survived, according to VIA employees. Chaotic situation in a neighborhood that has seen this before.
@HorizonOttawa You take money out of Kanata south and I don’t see any money going into Kanata south candidates and thus ensuring that hubley was re elected..
EXPLOSIVE NEW KLF AUDIO: SHOULD THE RCMP NOW INVESTIGATE?
The Findlay Files has obtained audio of @KerryLynneFindl addressing members of the @BCConservCaucus behind closed doors.
In it, Findlay discusses what could be done for an MLA that chooses to resign:
“If someone was willing to step aside, I could give them a role as a senior advisor in their same portfolio so that they’re very much involved and around. But, you know, it would allow for a by-election.”
KLF still has no seat in the legislature. @ReannGasper’s recently announced resignation has created the Abbotsford-Mission vacancy where Findlay now intends to run.
So let's follow the documented chronology:
Late June and early July: In reporting by @RobShaw_BC, @IanPatonDelta alleges that KLF Chief of Staff Chris Delaney contacted him twice and proposed that he step down and accept a two-year agriculture adviser role paying the equivalent of his MLA salary.
Findlay denies that any job, salary, or position was offered in exchange for Paton’s potential departure.
August 22: Gasper publicly announces that she is stepping down so Findlay can seek the nomination and run in a by-election, declaring:
“I believe in putting the bigger goal ahead of my own position.”
The Legislative Assembly confirms that Gasper formally resigned that day by writing to the Speaker.
Findlay praised Gasper’s decision as putting “the interests of our Party, our province, and our shared goal of forming government first.”
August 24: Two days later, an official Conservative caucus release calls Gasper’s decision “selfless” and “an incredibly generous offer,” and then announces:
“Gasper will now serve in a leadership role as Deputy Chief of Staff.”
August 25: Vista Radio reports that Findlay denied MLAs had been directly offered anything in exchange, but acknowledged “some discussions” about a possible party role after a member left office and caucus. She called any suggestion of something “untoward” “totally unfounded.”
Sections 124 and 125 of the Criminal Code contain provisions concerning appointments to or resignations from office involving, in specified circumstances, a “reward or profit” or an expected “reward, advantage or benefit.”
To be clear: The Findlay Files is not asserting that a criminal offence has occurred.
Nothing cited here establishes that Gasper was promised any position before she resigned.
But the questions are unavoidable:
What was discussed with Gasper before she resigned?
What, if anything, was offered, by whom, and when?
Do the known facts now warrant an RCMP investigation?
Listen to the full recording.
The public deserves answers.

@DavidPollackUSA You know how to put the deficit at equal footing? Apparently it’s our crude oil.. so okay.. you want to eliminate the deficit.. no problem!
The Red Sox forget how many outs there are and run into an inning ending double play.
However, after a lengthy delay, it is deemed the runner on third, despite never tagging up, is allowed to score the run. 2-1 Blue Jays.
