Firstly convert them to images (lots of open source libraries) and then run OCR (library from google) + Tesseract.
I’m currently doing with a tool that I built couple of months back, so far worked on 10k+ files successfully

@paraschopra This is an ongoing challenge, good amount of research is going on around “generalization testing”. Most of the work has been done on computer vision side, tough to crack natural language and robotics. But hopefully, will see new research ideas around it in near future
