Faculty and 26 students get hand on and realistic experience of application of #cutting-edge #technologies of #IoT devices.
During the visit, Students were briefed about STPI services that could turn them from #employmentseeker to #employment_creater.

Shri Arvind Kumar (@arvindtw), Director General, STPI, at the 26th Edition of INDIASOFT, highlighted that India is rapidly emerging as a global hub for innovation, driven by AI, startups, and next-generation technologies.

Key highlights of the address are:

🔹 The Global AI Impact Summit (4th edition) witnessed unprecedented global participation with 22 Heads of Government, 100+ countries, and over 5 lakh attendees, reflecting India’s growing leadership in AI and innovation.

🔹 India’s IT journey has evolved from IT/ITeS services to innovation-led growth, with exports reaching USD 224 billion in 2025 (~12% YoY growth)—supported by institutions like the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council.

🔹 Emphasized the need for platforms like INDIA SOFT to move beyond IT services exports and actively showcase India’s innovation and product ecosystem to the world.

🔹 Identified three key growth pillars for the future:
* Electronics Manufacturing
* Strategic & Critical Sectors
* Semiconductors

🔹 Highlighted the rise of innovation from Tier-2 & Tier-3 cities, urging expansion of such platforms beyond metros to enable inclusive and distributed innovation growth.
