Where are the forces now, Delhi Police?
If even 10% of the police force deployed against students at Jantar Mantar was deployed for women’s safety in Delhi, this wouldn’t have happened.
"Modi ji apne meri zindagi narak bana di hai" . The Jantar mantar girl is back.
They harassed the little girl so much that she has now completely lost her fear. She is even calling Modi a coward .
Hello @DrMohanBhagwat you could grandstand in NYC because @ZohranKMamdani believed it wasn’t his business to cancel private event. How about you teach your saffron goons same lesson when you return so they don’t vandalise films, shows & programs. ..?
I remember how communal forces in Manipur and their mentors and suppoters outside the State have dismissively reacted to this article then, as they tried to use the horrendous episode to further fuel the polarization and ongoing violence in Manipur!
Many of them continue to do the same even today while many of those from outside the state, who took propagandist and partisan position and used to peddle lies in the name of "minority - majority" and "tribal -nontribal" become conspicuous by their deafening silence on the deepening of the violence marked gruesome killings in Manipur amongst ST communities.
From day one, I have been demanding that the writ of the State must run and rein in the violence, law and order must be restored, and accountability must be fixed.
And simultaneously and consistently I have been reminding the Government of the plight of 60000 IDPs, and do the needful to ensure that they are returned to their original homes with dignity. 60000 IDPs are the estimated numbers of IDPs, across communities, who have been rendered homeless due to the ongoing manufactured mayhem in Manipur.
Similarly, I have insisted that citizens should have access to public facilities such as airport, highways, hospitals, educational institutions etc, and that nobody should be deprived of their constitutional rights.
Despite the polarization and vitiated atmosphere in Manipur, I have even taken names of the victims, across communities, of the violence in the House while pressing the above demands. In one public meeting in Imphal, I have requested the audience/participants to stand in memory of two women, one Hmar and another a Meitei.
These positions, or reiterating the same here, are obviously not to placate the communal forces, but to call out their lies and defeat them and to call out the collusion or complicity of the State in the ongoing violence, through its willful inaction and dubious responses, and to make those who are running the State to perform their constitutional duty. Most importantly, these demands are to pave the way towards peace and harmony in the state.
Fact is, to term my above positions, articulated both inside or outside the Parliament, as an act of speaking about or for ONLY this or that community can only come from those communal forces, including elected members, who want the violence and chaos, the lawlessness, to go on as a means to some political end, including the destruction of the state.

I dont trust @PenguinIndia since the day it started publishing half baked truths of twitter sanghis who are not even qualified to write on history, etc.
Not surprising. Penguin India's stakeholders should be audited, their accounts be audited. There is definitely a link to Sangh.
