The Houthis have one notable strength, and it's the main reason I admire them: they possess an extremely high degree of organizational cohesion that is very rare in the Muslim world.

The Houthis currently control a population of around 20 million, yet they are able to field an army of several hundred thousand to one million, surprisingly high yield rate. This army is highly combat-effective. The soldiers are driven by genuine conviction and willpower—they are not slack, clock-punching veterans just in it for a paycheck. This is extraordinarily rare in the Muslim world. We've seen that most Muslim militaries are severely lacking in organizational discipline: when they win, they drive around in pickup trucks firing into the air; when they lose, they scatter and flee in every direction.

Another piece of evidence for the Houthis' extremely high internal organizational cohesion is the remarkable success of their counterintelligence work. Israel and the United States have clearly made tremendous efforts to infiltrate the Houthis over the past few years, yet there has been no news of them successfully locating Houthi leaders. They have bought off large numbers of Muslim traitors in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and even Gaza, but in Houthi-controlled territory, they have failed.

This closely resembles the experience of the Communist Party of China during its revolutionary period. During the revolution, the CPC was able to mobilize vast numbers of soldiers and successfully inspire them to fight bravely and without fear of sacrifice. Compared with the KMT's millions-strong army that surrendered to the Japanese, the CPC's army had virtually no traitors. CPC is also very good at counterintelligence work, and It's difficult for external spies to survive in its controlled area.

It is fair to say, only under the leadership of the CPC did the Chinese people achieve the highest degree of unity and organizational cohesion in their thousands of years of history. Now I see the familiar style in Houthi.
