I concluded the five-day East African Revival Ankole Convention today at St. John’s Cathedral, Ruharo, in Mbarara. I conveyed greetings from Maama Janet and thanked the Bishops of Ankole for remembering this important anniversary.
I thank the Lord because He has really favoured me. I first came to the church compound in 1949 as a small boy, and returned in 1953 and 1959. To come back after 77 years is a great blessing. Praise be to the Lord.

To day PLU sports club made a visit to the head offices of patriotic league of Uganda @HonTwallafadil, we have discussed talent development in all Conners of Uganda Under the leadership @mkainerugaba.
We reflected on the longstanding spiritual relationship between the Osborn family and Uganda, and the transformation our country has undergone over the years.
I am grateful to God for Dr. Osborn’s continued love for Uganda and for her support of Pastor Patience Rwabwogo. As we prepare for Pastor Patience’s consecration as an Episcopal Bishop on 23rd August, I pray that God continues to guide and strengthen her in this new responsibility.
I welcome Dr. Osborn back to Uganda and pray that her visit will be a blessing to many.
Today, I joined H.E. the President in welcoming international evangelist Bishop Dr. LaDonna C. Osborn to State House Entebbe.
It was a special and deeply nostalgic meeting for me as I remembered her late mother, who visited our family many years ago. She prayed with us and gave each of our children their first Bible, together with one of her books. The memories of that visit remain very precious to our family.
Hajj Imran Muluga, the Resident District Commissioner, urged parents to educate their children in both English and religious studies, particularly in Quran recitation.

Today, Maama Janet and I received international evangelist, Bishop Dr. LaDonna C. Osborn at State House Entebbe. She is in Uganda ahead of the consecration of Pastor Patience Rwabwogo as a Bishop.
Dr. Osborn recalled her first visit to Uganda in 1985 with her late mother, who ministered to many Ugandans during a difficult period in our history. Maama Janet also fondly recalled Dr. Osborn’s mother, who prayed with our family and gave our children their first Bibles.
We reflected on Uganda’s transformation over the years and the enduring friendship between the Osborn family and Uganda. I welcome Dr. Osborn back to Uganda and wish Pastor Patience a blessed consecration.
