Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan today launched the book “Chalice of Ambrosia: Ram Janmabhoomi – Challenge and Response” by Shri Surendra Kumar Pachauri, former Secretary to Govt. of India, at the Vice President’s Enclave, New Delhi.

He said the Shri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya marks a defining moment in India’s civilisational journey, where faith, law and democracy converged with dignity. Calling Lord Ram the soul of the nation and India’s dharma, he said the 2019 Supreme Court verdict fulfilled the aspirations of millions and showcased the strength of Indian democracy.

The Vice President highlighted the role of the ASI excavation, mass public participation, and said the Ram Mandir restored the self-respect of Indians worldwide.

The event was attended by Shri Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Construction Committee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and Chairman of the Executive Council for the Prime Minister’s Museum and Library ; Shri Vinod Rai, former Comptroller and Auditor General of India; Shri Deepak Gupta, former Chairperson, UPSC; Shri Amit Khare, Secretary to the Vice President of India; and other dignitaries.
