From cow dung to community kitchen:

Gorakhpur gaushala writes a sustainable success story.

More than 100 cows and nearly 600 kilograms of dung collected every day are powering a kitchen that prepares meals for around 250 people.

The biogas plant, set up at a cost of 14 lakh rupees has been operational for the past two years.

In addition to generating clean cooking fuel, the plant also produces organic manure.

दो-दिवसीय दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्��ेसवे निरीक्षण प्रवास दौरान आज दूसरे दिन मध्य प्रदेश के मंदसौर के वे-साइड अमेनिटीज से शुरूआत कर गुजरात की ओर दिल्ली–मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे के पैकेज 18 से 31 तक चल रहे निर्माण कार्यों का निरीक्षण किया।

मध्य प्रदेश और गुजरात में दिल्ली–मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे के महत्वपूर्ण खंडों का प्रत्यक्ष निरीक्षण करते हुए अधिकारियों के साथ विकास कार्यों की समीक्षा की और परियोजना की गुणवत्ता तथा समयबद���ध प्रगति का आकलन किया।

लगभग कुल 357 किलोमीटर की इस यात्रा में निर्माण गुणवत्ता, सड़क सुरक्षा, इंटरचेंज तथा यात्रियों के लिए विकसित की जा रही रोड साइड सुविधाओं का प्रत्यक्ष आकलन किया।
