I shouldn’t have phrased this how I did. What I meant to say is that this is imo the subjectively more polite/ respectful way to pop off. Not forcing the opponent to sit there waiting for a handshake. You are not a necessarily a sore winner/ bum for popping off first.

Ego holds so many people back in the smash community it’s insane. There is a difference in confidence in one’s ability, and blind entitlement. BigD is one of the greatest examples of seperating one’s ego from their skill while still being confident ive ever seen. If you struggle>
