and I just spent an hour trying to log into my Roku tv to listen to pandora, to which I didn't even know I (or my husband?) had a Roku 'account' to which it couldn't tell me which was wrong, the email, the password, oh but send the 'verification code' but I missed the time allotted and I did it again and then I went to my computer and it wanted a pandora acct., same thing, then I needed to remember that I have to click to SEE my password as I type it (should be the default by the way) as my fingernails click crazy things, and then I went to my other TV to which I had espn+ or no I didn't and then that changed to not + anymore cuz it got confused with freaking disney+ to which then I'm on hold with a Florida DMV from 8 years ago that it is only now copescing with the GA one but FL doesn't take payments only checks but then on hold again to find out who the ATTN mail should be but wait no checks anymore but if I use ...

I am constantly PISSED off. We can't get what we HAVE currently correct. People know this. But yeah, I'll be excited alright. maybe. but probably not.

Either side, one can rather ascertain which way that wind blows. While an American Flag isn't indicative, necessarily (albeit lately it seems so), a MAGA bumpersticker on your car in your driveway IS.

DOJ Announces Charges Against Utah Postal Worker For Trashing More Than 300 Mail-In Ballots | Cristina Laila, The Gateway Pundit

This is why the Senate needs to pass the SAVE America Act now.

The Justice Department on Tuesday announced a postal worker was indicted for discarding more than 300 mail-in ballots in a dumpster.

A grand jury indicted 34-year-old Damon Matai Seei on September 16 on one count of Unlawful Secretion, Destruction, and Delay of Mail.

Seei was arraigned at a federal courthouse in Utah on Tuesday afternoon.

“[On] June 3, 2026, SEEI threw away some of the mail, which he had been entrusted to deliver, into a dumpster in a church parking lot. He later admitted in an interview that he threw away the mail because he wanted to “lighten his workload” so he could presumably go home earlier,” the Justice Department’s detention memo read.

“When American voters lawfully cast their vote, they should feel confident that it is counted,” said Acting Deputy Attorney General Trent McCotter.

He continued, “Allegedly throwing away hundreds of ballots is a serious federal crime that undermines the integrity of our elections. Ballot integrity is not a partisan issue.”

“When the defendant allegedly threw away the mail he was entrusted to deliver, he also threw away the chance for those citizens to exercise their right to vote,” said U.S. Attorney Melissa Holyoak for the District of Utah.

“Our office, along with our law enforcement partners, takes these offenses seriously and will continue to investigate them to ensure justice is served for anyone whose constitutional right to vote has been infringed,” she said.

Melissa Holyoak said an investigation began after voters reported not receiving their ballots and officials identified unusually low voter participation.

Seei told investigators that he did not have a political motive.

I had never heard of kratom until this morning’s story.

Two Ole Miss students, ages 18 and 20, are dead, and packaged “gas station drug” kratom was found at both scenes.

Kratom is an herbal product with opioid-like effects at higher doses. It sits on convenience store shelves, often with unknown potency and no real quality control.

Parents, please be aware. Even if you haven’t heard of it like me, make sure your kids know what it is and that it can kill them.🙏

That aside,
an analogy here that may or may not help:

My car is making a weird noise. I kinda sorta know the noise and have a few ideas what it may be, but I will never truly know cuz I'm not a mechanic and even if I was I still have to purchase a replacement part that I may or may not know anything about, trust the equipment that hoists my car, etc. etc...

But I really want/need to bring it to a mechanic that I trust cuz this just might not be a simple fix that normally someone in my family could do. This could be an alignment or axle and that needs special equipment.

So what am I saying?
I have to TRUST a bunch of people for something relatively low risk and not very life-altering and that's not even bringing up the $$ issue.

It's hardly my whole entire home, bank, life, country, family, or anything of that magnitude.

Every day someone's getting hacked. Just yesterday yet again I walk out to my ancient mailbox and I get, "we are sorry to inform you that your data was compromised at <blank> company, but to help you we are giving you 1 year of free identity protection, blah blah.

It was a postcard. Snailmail. But that there COULD be the very hack that they WILL get by me giving them data thinking that I WAS hacked, but I now am GOING to be. (??)

All this is worrying a ton of people.
