@mikeys_money@DaPiraguaMan They may as well have. There is nothing GME has that would make the share price go +40% by Oct. Earnings don’t move the price, dilution certainly doesn’t move the price, and the hostile bid on eBay will take a year or two. It’s always just one more thing to get baggies holding on
@mikeys_money That’s what YOU think… but it’s been my experience that GME does things after saying they’re gonna do other things, and then things they said they’ll do don’t get done and the net result is they were able to do things they normally wouldn’t be able to do… like dilution
@Vivek4real_ Me: “Hi, where are you leaking money?”
Business: “who are you?”
Me: “I know how to use AI. I can help you.”
Business: “we’re not leaking money. We’re doing just fine.”
Me: “oh. Well… good day.”
@ReesePolitics now eBay has to reconsider the offer because there’s no question about where the money will come from. And if eBay says no anyways, then RC proceeds with the hostile take-over which will drag on for 2-years and all GME shareholders are just supposed to wait around at $22.00…
@KellyMarieBrady He’s replacing them with AI. Trump said that tech is the solution to America’s debt. If you can replace 90% of government workforce with AI, you’re able to massively reduce government spending and easily finance the debt.
@UCopy417@gamestop If there’s one thing I’ve learned about GME, it’s that the stock price is completely disassociated from world events, news, or overall market volatility. It just lays there and meanders along.
@tweakindeacon@ReesePolitics We don’t talk about that. Didn’t you get the memo? Things the company does not discuss:
- stock price
- warrants
- stock price
- eBay
- dilution
- stock price
- forward guidance
- GME
@kevinxu The market tends to do the opposite of what everyone is predicting. So all the recent earnings beats and revenue growth, SPCX ipo, everyone anticipates the tech bubble will just keep going. So, the market is doing the opposite
@saylordocs He said you have to put in something like 2-years before you can apply to move up the chain, be a level 1 manager, then another 2 years and you get level 2 and so on. He says all his managers are dicks.
@saylordocs Friend of mine works there. only makes about $18/hr and I don’t know if he has stock options, but he said it’s a hard job physically. Works 9/hrs day with a 30minute lunch. They’re supposed to have 15min breaks every couple hours but they’re short staffed so he gets no breaks.
