An incredible upset
It will be Canada vs South Africa in the round of 32 Sunday in Los Angeles
The magic of the World Cup benefits Jesse Marsch’s men
#TSN690#CANMNT@TSN_Sports
A.J. Greer's intention is to head to market. Leaving door open to Florida if Panthers can find cap space or make a move. But all signs point to pending UFA winger and bruising winger, coming off career high 17 goals, going to July 1 market.
An incredible push from Canada in the final 15 minutes comes up just short
Multiple half chances in injury time but they cannot win Group B falling 2-1 to Switzerland
It will almost certainly be Canada vs South Korea in LA on Sunday
#TSN690#CANMNT@TSN_Sports
Been saying it for a year
Promise David will score an enormous World Cup goal for Canada
Promise kept. Promise delivered
Utter brilliance from Saliba to set it up as well
Canada right back in this down 2-1 to Switzerland
#TSN690#CANMNT@TSN_Sports
Think Marsch got this one wrong
Yes, Cyle scored in back to back matches. But considering how this was going to play out it made more sense to use the pressing of Tani to start and then bring on Larin and/or Promise the final 30 minutes

A pretty devastating first 15 minutes of the second half for De Fougerolles and Cornelius
Crepeau should do better as well
Canada down 2-0 and look destined to finish 2nd in Group B
#TSN690#CANMNT@TSN_Sports
Canada really grew into the game the final 15 minutes
Considering the players who are out injured, that has to be as good of a first half as Canadian fans could have hoped for against Switzerland

Multiple teams have confirmed Carolina is considering trade involving Alexander Nikishin. The 24 year old Stanley Cup champion is a pending RFA, so the Canes are weighing trade interest vs extension.

@sashalaGarde I dunno I’m just a Byram believer. I think he can flourish as the guy. He’s been wanting this since he left Colorado. He’ll play in all situations and I think it CAN work
Then again, I would have never traded a top-five pick for him. Too much of a gamble
I know I’m in the minority but I do believe Byram can be a #1 defenceman in the right situation
He better be now.
Love this trade for Buffalo. Crevier is a really intriguing add as well considering his size and skating ability
