For years we begged for a manager who actually understands the weight of the Manchester United shirt, respects the tactical transition, and doesn't make excuses. We finally have him in Michael Carrick. The entire Manchester United fanbase needs to come together, block out the outside noise, and support this man 100%. This is a manager to go to war for.
One thing that has always baffled me about some #MUFC content creators opinions is the lack of consistency.
Yesterday, (in the video) Mark Goldbridge was criticising the previous management for giving out ridiculous contracts and creating the wage problems we have today — especially situations like Rashford’s £300k-a-week deal.
But today, same Mark is criticizing INEOS trying to correct those mistakes, reduce costs, and make the club operate in a more sustainable way. Make it make sense ☹️
You can’t blame the old management for creating a problem and then attack the new management for trying to fix it.
Manchester United’s current situation didn’t happen overnight. Bad contracts, poor recruitment decisions, and unsustainable wages from previous years are part of why the club is having to make difficult decisions now.
Fans have every right to demand improvement, but we also need to be fair and look at the bigger picture. Rebuilding a club requires difficult choices, and not every decision will be popular.
Criticism is important, but consistency matters too. Otherwise, it just becomes outrage for content rather than genuine analysis.
I will continue to expose this fraud #mufc #transfer
I completely disagree with this narrative. Manchester United don’t become a small club because INEOS refuse to throw £100m at every problem. For years, we confused ambition with spending huge wages, inflated fees, long contracts and panic buys left the club with players nobody wanted to buy. That isn’t ambition; that’s bad management. The new approach is different: younger players, better wage structures, more attention to resale value and recruitment based on fit rather than reputation. Yes, I still want United to compete for elite players when the right opportunity appears, but £80m for the wrong player doesn’t make us ambitious walking away does. The real test for INEOS is whether this disciplined rebuild eventually produces a team capable of challenging for trophies. That’s the ambition I’m interested in.
Carrick’s success was not inevitable and we’re long past the new manager bounce era. We wondered how Utd would do against the best teams in the league, how they would do when they went behind in a game, how they would do against teams with a low block, how they would do with injuries and how they would respond to a defeat? So far, he’s answered every question that’s been asked of him, he deserves so much credit.
🚨Is Martin Ødegaard better than Bruno Fernandes? Only if you ignore almost everything that matters in football. Stamina, durability, football intelligence, work rate, pressing, creativity, chance creation, passing, leadership, shooting, set pieces, penalties... Bruno is superior in all of these areas. They are not even in the same conversation and they never have been. Even many Arsenal fans admit Bruno is the better player.
In recent Premier League history, the only midfielder truly comparable to Bruno Fernandes is Kevin De Bruyne. That’s it.
If I were on the United board, I would do everything possible to ensure Bruno retires at this club. The reality is simple: there is no midfielder in the world that United could realistically sign to replace him if he leaves.
Bruno is arguably the best midfielder in the Premier League and even in the world. He is 31 years old and with his style of play, he can still deliver top-level performances for many more years. There is no true replacement for him on the market.
The truth is, United need Bruno far more than Bruno needs United. He could walk into any top European club and win trophies. United, however, cannot win trophies without him.
The solution is clear: Keep Bruno, build a strong team around him over the next two or three seasons and if we handle the next transfer windows properly, trophies will follow. #MUFC
This is one of the best performances we've put in since SAF retired - honestly. Both offensively and defensively, and everything in between. Just absolutely sensational football all game.
@ivanlapanje Might regret this since I hate longshot Metas:
try out the angles around the box (especially centrally) using finesse shots with a player who has the finesse playstyle+ (gold version). The conversion rate is ridiculous and I bet you’ll make a video about this after testing it.
