“May your village burn” and “Muhammad is dead” is what thousands of extremist Jewish settlers marching on Al Aqsa illegally in Jerusalem chanted.

Yesterday, some also held a barbecue shamelessly at the border of Gaza to mock the starving Palestinians.

Oh, and Netanyahu filmed himself in a tunnel under the holy site of Islam while the US Secretary of State went to “celebrate” with them.

Because this has been repeated several times recently, I needed to make this note:

Since the start of the genocide, many people including philanthropists, celebrities, news editors and others have offered to pay money for me. I have never accepted money from anyone except in a very few cases for several reasons:
1- I am not poor.
2- I have a regular salary from the London-based news outlet I working with.
3- It is difficult to get the money from abroad to Gaza at the moment. You need money laundering or paying high fees for making transactions.
4- I know the issue of money jeopardises credibility, and I need credibility at the moment more than millions of dollars.
5- Some people asked me to launch a fundraising page, but I refused because I didn’t know what to do with a large amount of money while there is no life in Gaza. So that, I told them I would do this if I remained alive after the end of this genocide.
I tried to launch a campaign during the ceasefire, but I couldn’t do it because all campaign pages don’t not deal with Gaza. I really don’t know how hundreds of Gazans are doing it.
6- I told this to news editors who tasked me to do some work or used the materials I post here. The BBC and others insisted to pay money for me, but I refused getting money before the end of the genocide.
7- Some Muslims asked me to accept Zakat, but I refused and told them I am not poor.
8- Recently I could have a PayPal account and posted it here, telling those who are happy with my work can send money through it.
9- In the past few days, several people claimed they are Jews, who are against the genocide, insisted that they would send some money in return for STAGING a scene of famine, explaining exactly what they meant with staging —getting hungry people speaking about their miserable conditions in front of the camera.
I insisted I did not get money for anyone except for myself. We then agreed to do thus for free. Then, they got screenshots for parts of our conversations and posted them, claiming that famine scenes coming out of Gaza are fake. They ignored the complete conversation made on WhatsApp.
The famine in Gaza doesn’t need fake videos or images to prove it is really happening. Israeli officials have clearly acknowledged they are cutting food, water and electricity supplies going to Gaza. All international bodies and NGOs including many Jewish have made there is an unprecedented famine in Gaza and Israeli occupation is using starvation as a weapon.
