@aherys@BrodieOnLinux My logic was more that culling saves on perf and the planar reflections reduce it, in a sense it balances to be close to the same however I could be wrong. I still believe for simple mirrors in a room, like 1 or 2, it would still be faster than RT . I think RT is better for many.
@aherys@BrodieOnLinux Not necessarily rendering it twice, since cameras cull, it's technically just rendering what is usually culled behind you + char model. Nearly the same amount of geometry is being rendered nonetheless, and today rendering geometry is rather cheap and compatible on potatoes.
@alphafox Definitely looks great with 2d games, especially on a slightly higher end monitor. 3d games looks great too but the motion clarity is what's really amazing for 3D.
@ValiantValorie Real keyboards have layers and quantum/tap dance keys. And it doesn't even need to be a split keyboard just needs the QMK/ZMK firmware.
