A short power interruption occurred July 24/24 at 3.04PM due to storm activity in the area. All power should be restored as of 3:10pm
A short power outage occurred July 15th at 4:16pm affecting the Town of Renfrew due to storm activity in the area. All power should be restored at this time.
The Town of Renfrew recently experienced a 5 minute outage caused by storm activity that interrupted Renfrew Hydro's power supply from the provincial grid.

Renfrew Hydro crews have restored power to all customers and are continuing to work at replacing the damaged pole on Raglan St. South.
Renfrew Hydro crews have restored power to all customers (105) on the west side of Raglan St, South. 15 customers remain without power on the east side of Raglan St. S., mostly on Graham Ave. These remaining customers should be back on by 11:30am.
Renfrew Hydro crews have responded to a damaged pole caused by a motor vehicle collision at the corner of Raglan St S. and Dregras St. Crews are now working to restore power by 11:30 am to 120 customers in this area. (Ivy Ave, Haremis Dr., Erindale Ave., Wade Ave., McDougal St.)

On May 01, 2023, summer Time-of-Use (TOU) hours and the change in the Tiered threshold took place and will remain in place until October 31, 2023. In addition, Renfrew Hydro's residential and small business customers, may opt for a new Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO) price plan.
Today, National Day of Mourning, Renfrew Hydro staidly remember workers who have died, were injured, or became ill at work . We pause to reflect on and reconfirm our own commitment to a safe and healthy workplace.
Renfrew Hydro crews have restored power to all customers on Charles Ave. With the exception of a few individual homes that experienced damaged service entrances all power in Renfrew has been restored! Thank you to all our customers for their patience and understanding throughout.
Renfrew Hydro crews continue to work throughout this evening. 10 customers on Charles Ave. remain without power and we are estimating that their power will be restored by 1 am. Crews are also busy reconnecting individual homes who experienced service entrance/ stand-pipe damages.

Today's freezing rain recently caused a power interruption to 60 customers on Charles Ave, Francis St & Coronation St. Renfrew Hydro crews are on site making repairs and power is expected to be restored by 6:00pm.
Renfrew Hydro customers experienced a 15 minute outage this morning due to a loss of supply from the provincial grid. Hydro One's Stewartville Transformer Station experienced some protection issues that resulted in a forced outage to the Station. We thank you for your patience.

The Town of Renfrew has experienced a power outage at approximately 5:55AM, July 21/22 due to loss of supply from Hydro One caused by a pole fire. The town has been transferred to an alternate supply.
