The next chapter of our 4000 Plantation Mission took us to Good Samaritan School, where we brought together the next generation of environmental champions and equipped them with the knowledge and tools they need to take on climate change.

In partnership with Umeed Foundation, we showed students the incredible potential of a simple seed ball. As they rolled, shaped, and created their very own, they discovered that protecting the planet can also be a whole lot of FUN!!

Growing Tomorrow's Environmental Champions.

What if caring for the environment started with something as simple as making a seed ball?

That's exactly what students at Bharti Public School, Nirman Vihar, discovered during the Champions of Change orientation programme, organised by INDIAdonates in collaboration with Umeed Foundation.

The session encouraged students to talk about climate change, think about the choices they make every day, and explore how even small actions can make a difference.

The highlight of the day was a hands-on seed ball making activity. As students shaped, rolled, and took their seed balls home to plant, they also learned that protecting the environment begins with care, patience, and responsibility.

This is just the beginning. As the programme continues, students will have the opportunity to raise funds to sponsor and take ownership of trees that will be planted and maintained for three years, helping them become active participants in creating a greener future.

Because every big change starts with one small action.

Flexible funding is not an easy conversation.

Speaking at the Synergy & Sustainability Symposium, Anantvijay Singh, Associate Director - Rebuild India Fund, Dasra, reflected on the realities of fundraising and why building trust with donors takes time.

Not every funder begins by believing in unrestricted support. But when organisations are given the flexibility to strengthen themselves, invest in leadership, and respond to community needs, the impact extends far beyond a single programme.
