All indies, all the time. Leading on from #indieapril (started by @agletterman), we're going to rt and share indies, all year round! Run by and for #writers
So proud of Kai. Disabled in various ways, but still up for new stuff and competing. Knowing her she's refusing to be treated as special needs. But, partial spine injury, neurodiverse and everything else? #sheisaweinspiring
@babydoll41@OccupyDemocrats Where do you live that children aren't vaccinated?
I grew up in the UK and we get our MMR, BCG, tetanus, polio and now, flu shots. Pregnant women get flu shots.
Get informed before spouting "never vaccinated before now".
Changes, struggling with writing and more...
"I think there's a lot of this that's important. For writers, creatives. For life. We have bad days. We do what we can, but sometimes it's just a day that doesn't move..." #mondayblogs#creativecommunity https://t.co/gAcq7Q6EFm
I hope everyone is doing ok. I know some of you are not.
As to the site? We've been talking and it and a few other sites need some thought. My friends - closest ones - have gone through hell and I want to be around mostly for them.
Cautiously thinking about how I come back walkabout.
I'm inherently OK. After a lot of thought, and the divorce was finalised, I sold my family farm, and moved to the US. I've gone from homeless and a tiny amount from the farm, to having a little space of my own.
Setting up a writer's group.
Answer all questions if you wanna join - if you miss any, it'll reject you.
Main group is https://t.co/Rpi0BWJ36z We are a creative, no advertising group with daily discussion topics, classes linked from the group and more.
I'll say it.
If you write fanfiction, you are *writing*.
Screw the asshole that trots out strawman to justify her bullying.
Retweet if you wrote or write Fanfuction abd make some bew freinds in the comments. Betcha the FF community is nicer than any of her bitchiness.
@benedict_rs Wow.
@neilhimself might have something to say, given I can think of at least one of his celebrated collections containing a Lofecraft fanfic.
My best freind uses fanfic as therapy. 25 books and counting to his name.
Sour grapes much?
But when I suggested, nearly 2 years back, it'd be nice to support a project that helped those struggling to socialise, *all* I got back was "they at least get to make that choice. Imagine not needing to leave the house".
Many don't need to imagine any more. It's just a bit close
Another interesting thought.
I live rural, Middle of nowhere on a farm.
I am now alone, as my last surviving relative passed away. My only contact is virtual right now. I am looking at university avd seeing people say that virtual is bad.
These same people saying minimise risks,
Sorry, no, our attitudes to social isolation, and to teachers and our health care are part of this issue.
"Oh, no, non-essential closures. What about the people that socialise at pubs?" Uhm. Ok.
That's anenvirinment which contributes to addiction and civil costs,
