National Aboriginal Veterans Day began in Winnipeg in 1994 to recognize #Indigenous veterans who were not recognized in Remembrance Day activities, and is now celebrated every Nov 08th in many communities across Canada.
Today, at 11am on 11 November, please join us to observe one minute's silence this Remembrance Day.
Each year we pause to recognise those who served, or are serving in in war, conflict and on peace-keeping operations.
