I live on the 2nd floor. A big black roach looking bug was flying by my door, so I went down the back stairs. when I got to the front, the bug swooped down, dive bombing me...
Right then, a lady came out, saw me flailing & thought I was afraid of her dog. I was just trying to get away from the bug, I said. Perplexed, she continued walking her dog. I went back upstairs to my apt. Inside, I felt something tangled in my braid. It was the bug.
My John Cusack story:
Literally, our eyes met (and locked) across a crowded room at Sun.dan.ce.
Months later I was in a pizza place at ~ 3 a.m. in LA. The handsome sir came in the front door. Our eyes met (and locked) across the brigght room. There was a recognition in his eyes
I'd forgotten just how much I missed the sound of @PJVogt's voice and reporting prowess until I heard him laugh on his new podcast, #searchengine All is nearly right with the world again.
Law question. Why did it take months for the Idaho defendant to enter a formal plea, but the LISK entered a "not guilty" plea within a day of his arrest?
