Birds of Indian Embassy (@IndiainNepal): Rufous Treepie (कोकले) is another permanent resident of the Indian Embassy compound. There are 2 pairs that I have seen during my stay here. They usually make a loud call, and as per Google, the Nepali name is an onomatopoeia based on that loud "kok-kok" or metallic calling sound

Halfway through the Asian Games, and a moment to celebrate every Indian athlete who has stood on the podium so far. Congratulations ! Each medal carries a story that began long before these Games did.
But sport is also about those moments that don’t end with a medal. I know how much of yourself you invest in preparing for one day, one match, one performance. Sometimes it comes together. Sometimes it doesn’t. Both stay with you, and both become part of the athlete you eventually become.

There will be joy for some, disappointment for others, and perhaps a few wondering what might have been. Take it all in. Learn from it, grow from it, and be proud that you had the courage to put yourself out there and compete. We are only halfway. There are many contests still to come, many stories still to be written. To every athlete wearing India on their chest compete freely, trust the work you have done, and make the most of these moments. They pass far too quickly.

📰 The Brahmaputra–Chao Phraya Dialogue received extensive coverage across regional, national and international media platforms. The two-day Dialogue brought together stakeholders from India and Thailand to explore new opportunities in health, education, youth, enterprise and regional connectivity.

It feautured a senior Thai delegation led by H.E. Mrs Urasa Mongkolnavin, Director-General, Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand and comprised of scholars from leading Thai universities, including Thammasat University, Ubon Ratchathani University, Prince of Songkla University, and Chulalongkorn University.
