Overjoyed to be a summer research student at @JoslinDiabetes in Harvard Medical School!
Grateful to @QUBelfast for their support and generous scholarship.
This dream wouldn’t be a reality without the family + friends who have supported me at every step - this is yours🤍

Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney#Cameroon https://t.co/bKteFZ3iWE
God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.
This is absurd. If we need 4,000 training places we should have them. If we don’t, the Prime Minister shouldn’t be offering them as a bribe paid for by the taxpayer.
In a dispute over pay and jobs, you
1. Offered no movement on pay
2. Offered no new jobs
3. Called doctors 'moaning minnies' and 'juvenile delinquents' in the press
When you wait 12+ hours to see a doctor in A&E, remember that 12 other doctors applied to be that doctor and got turned away.
Doctors are unemployed and cannot find work, whilst last night ambulances waited 6+ hours outside my A&E to be seen.
That is why Doctors are striking.
People in Belfast have the biggest of hearts and certainly have the capacity to care about several issues at once. It’s frankly insulting to suggest otherwise. As a place that benefited hugely from international solidarity during the peace process, only right we do the same
