Things I regret from my 20s because I was too frugal to spend money having fun:

- Not going to the top of the fortress in Malta because there was a $3 additional charge

- Refusing to go to the club in Florence because there was a cover charge

- Getting the vegetarian meal because it was $9 cheaper than the giant meat platter

- Giving my little brother a hard time for getting a $3 soda instead of just the main meal during the lunch special

- Refusing to financially contribute to few other things I can’t talk about online

You don’t get your 20s back. Invest, yes. It works.

But I am not thankful for the $9 I saved on a meal a decade ago. I should have partaken.

Spend your money within reason. Spend your money with your friends.

Your future self can worry about itself.
