If you enjoyed the SGE movie please please please go read the book! The movie is good but the book is leagues above - @SomanChainani did an incredible job with all seven books I've read and he definitely has a life long fan in me, who's been reading SGE since he was 14 (now 19)!

So the school for good and evil movie is getting a lot of praise - and as it should, it's a good movie - but I'm here to throw my hat into the ring.

It is a good film. The actresses? Incredible jobs. The CGI was amazing. But.. It's not a good adaptation

I know an adaptation will never be the book. They have to cut things for time or change things to hook movie viewers rather than readers.. but some of the changes felt dramatic while others just made me think "Really? You've changed that?" (See: Blue forest not being blue.)
