Well, this is fewer eggs than we hoped for this cycle...but it's not nothing! We always remind ourselves that at least we are still 'in the game'.
We're still hoping to fertilise the 10 or so eggs that we have over the ext few days.

After our 22nd egg retrieval, we were hopeful—but this round came with some tough fertilisation results. In Part 2, we break down what happened after retrieval, the numbers, and what this means for our journey moving forward.
Follicle update! It feels like a lot of this is falling to Laura, but I'm making an appearance in this video. All I can do is listen to her updates and try to pick up the slack elsewhere. We're still doing it, one step at a time.

We’re back for IVF egg collection #22 — this journey has been anything but easy, but were moving forward with hope. We're hoping that we will soon have 10 to 12 eggs, so that we can defrost one vial of sperm and try to fertilise them.
As is the tradition...a quick message to let Jon know that I'm ok.
It feels like our story is getting repetitive, but I guess that is what IVF can be sometimes.
For now, we are ok.
Another day, another ultrasound. I have gone into the clinic so many times this cycle (one time unnecessarily!!)
One of the things we don't talk about enough is how much of a time commitment IVF is...it really is a big undertaking.

It’s egg retrieval day… again! Join us for our 21st egg collection as we share the results of this cycle. How many eggs did we get this time?
Spoiler: not many!
Another 4 eggs for the freezer. This is such a long journey, but we know where we are going and why.
Big thank you to the amazing staff at No 1 Fertility and the Epworth Hospital who always take such good care of us.
4 eggs collected and 4 eggs to the freezer!
For some this may be considered a low number, but we are grateful that we continue to move forward.
Thank you to the incredible doctors and nurses at No 1 Fertility and Epworth hospital who take such good care of us.
We find it so important to check in with each other, to make sure we are both ok.
This process is not for the faint of heart! ....and if either of us weren't ok, we would be putting it on pause.
This process is really hard and you being ok, is so important.
Final scan, we are nearly ready to collect these eggs. Fingers crossed we get a good outcome, although we have dramatically lowered our expectations for what good is these days!

While we are attempting to clear chronic endometritis, we are using the time to collect enough eggs to use our last remaining vials of sperm - and it is proving to be a slow process.
