Ryan brought a book in Portugal that he really liked , everything was obviously written in Portuguese, but he just liked the pictures , with the help of everyone on twitter we were able to find out what the book was called, and a very kind lady brought the book in Portugal then translated it all for Ryan, last night I sat with Ryan and read through the book with him using the English translation, he's already picking up words and now knows the Portuguese word for door is porta.

PSA for autistic people: “informal chats” with a prospective employer are rarely informal chats, rather *slightly* friendlier and potentially less-scripted interviews. Treat such chats seriously and prepare for them as you would an ordinary interview, just be a little friendlier.
