Tonight I’m wondering if you heard this important nugget Ken Buck was quoted as saying?
House Republicans’ razor-thin margin is now down to two.
When talking to Axios, Buck hinted to what could be even bigger news: more resignations could be coming.
“I think it's the next three people that leave that they're going to be worried about.”
Does Buck know something that we dont know or is he speculating?
A special election in a very blue district in New York in April could shrink the GOP majority even more.
As of today, Speaker Mike Johnson is two bad colds away from having to reach across the aisle to get anything done, such as keep the government open and functioning. A vote on funding 70% of the federal government is just days away.
As for Buck, the representative from Colorado’s eastern plains, is a rare Republican indeed.
He didn’t bend the knee to Donald Trump.
What will the American electorate think about all this chaos?
Come November, the current Republican House majority could become the minority real quick.
↓
Mitch McConnell has urged Speaker Johnson to allow a vote on the bipartisan Ukraine aid bill.
House Republicans really need to stop pretending their opposition to funding Ukraine is because they care about struggling people in this country.🤡
#ProudBlue#GOPClownShowContinues
House Republicans are blocking bills that would address immigration, grow the economy, reduce crime, and strengthen our national security. Republicans themselves admit they’re doing nothing to help their constituents, all they care about is driving down “Joe Biden’s poll numbers”
Mike Lindell says he will shock the world tomorrow: “This evidence is more explosive than any evidence I’ve seen, and I’ve seen a lot. This is gonna shock the world!” He then says the Supreme Court will side with him 9-0.
Four years ago, almost to the day, as terrified Americans were dying— and desperate for accurate Covid information— Donald Trump held a Coronavirus briefing and invited crack addict Mike Lindell to hawk pillows and quote scripture.
Yes, he was worse than you remember.
The Supreme Court heard and decided Bush v. Gore in THREE DAYS.
THAT was expediting a case of national importance.
The Supreme Court apparently now thinks expediting means THREE MONTHS.
Clearest evidence yet that SCOTUS is corrupt and broken.
Donald Trump does not have a real legal argument on immunity -- and he knows it.
This whole thing is a delay tactic, throwing sand into the gears of justice.
It's a standard move from Trump's playbook -- and the Supreme Court just fell for it.
And some of them are in on it.
🚨By deciding to entertain Donald Trump’s appeal and shelving the arguments till April, the U.S. Supreme Court has blatantly thrown its lot in with political maneuvering to favor Trump. The appellate court’s logic, unassailable, is now overshadowed by the Supreme Court’s apparent disregard for justice.
This Supreme Court has unabashedly revealed its priorities: not the law, not justice, but securing politically convenient outcomes.
These misnamed “right to work” laws are “no right to unionize” laws in drag! The Michigan court’s sensible decision that they violate workers’ rights under the state constitution should lead other state courts to follow suit when their constitutions are similar.
It turns out Tucker Carlson's grocery bill he bragged about paying at a Moscow supermarket cost more than 50% of the average Russian's weekly salary. https://t.co/cCRCHrR3Ar
Guess who banned guns today?
Trump banned guns at Philly’s sneaker convention
He bans guns at Mar-a-Lago & all his properties
He bans guns at his Klan rallies & his NRA speeches
But he has the nerve to tell us to just “get over it” when our kids are murdered?!
GIMME A BREAK
“The president believes the special counsel investigating his handling of classified documents went beyond his remit. And part of the blame is being placed on the AG.”
As it should be.
I’ve long respected my friend and former student Merrick Garland but he has bent too far backwards in order to avoid seeming pro-Biden.
https://t.co/zjuPjvmek8
Merrick Garland finding an avowed Republican to handle an investigation into a Democratic president during an election year defies logic. We need to stop trying to WIN OVER Republicans with displays of goodwill. It's never going to happen.
