Once again, Erebus has simply broken into @RejectedInk's apartment. It was ๐๐๐๐ early in the morning, and the ravenette was dressed in his best Santa Claus outfit, as he quietly snuck into her bedroom. As quiet as when he snuck in, the man would remove his shoes and hatโ
@RejectedInk Erebus raised an eyebrow in surprise at the sudden change in heart from Spring of all people. She was usually so steadfast and stubborn, but no matter! He gave a nod.
"Then we'll do that!"
He watched as she got up and went to her wardrobe, nodding slightly as she laid out herโ
@RejectedInk โjust to name a few."
He gave her a small, reassuring smile.
"I could also coach you on the writing portion, if that might help you feel a bit better about it? I'm constantly writing things for work."
@RejectedInk "My dear, you seem to forget just ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฐ I am!"
Erebus chuckled at the notion that he might not have information that Spring could find useful in some capacity.
"Art history? I'm versed enough. I could tell you about the ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐บ old artists. Dali, Picasso, O'Keeffe, evenโ
@RejectedInk โhim to slip out.
"Thank you again for your help."
Erebus would flash one last smile before turning to head out towards the carpark, leaving the door how it was so Spring could follow if she felt so inclined, or simply close it and leave him out here.
[Making you ๐ด๐ฐ๐ต๐ฌ. A closed starter for @RejectedInk]
It was a quiet, stormy, night. One where, normally, you would find empty streets. Yet, a lone man stalks this night, wondering into the apartment building of @RejectedInk, and ringing the buzzer for her room. This manโ
@RejectedInk Erebus nodded slightly, getting up and following Spring as she gestured for him to do. He was more than happy to comply since he'd accomplished all he sat out to do here.
"Right."
Taking the hint, he slipped passed her, moving towards the door and opening it just enough forโ
@RejectedInk โwell, I suppose that we could step outside? I'd think that those people wouldn't have followed me here...?"
Erebus shrugged slightly.
"I certainly hope they haven't, anyway! At the very least, I know that they didn't see me come in here."
@RejectedInk Erebus held his smile as Spring shook her head, indicating that she didn't mind calling a cab for him.
"Thank you!"
He gave that response softly as she brought the phone up to her ear. He'd wait patiently through the conversation she held before tilting his head slightly.
"Hmโ
@RejectedInk As Spring started sputtering, Erebus would glance at her, though he didn't stop walking since she didn't seem to be in any real trouble.
"Hm? Is it not?"
He shrugged slightly as she fell into step properly, returning his attention to the road ahead of them.
"Oh! We'll try theโ
@RejectedInk โput his hands on his hips.
"We'll just bring Japan to you! We can order your favorite foods, stay in, maybe have some cocoa? And all the while we can spend the day doing whatever you'd like to do in your apartment! Perhaps cuddling and watching movies? That sounds romantic~!"
@RejectedInk "Hmm..."
Erebus had shifted slightly on the bed as Spring spoke, moving more towards the edge she would notice whenever she opened her eyes again.
"Well, you do have a point! It is rather cold out there this time of year, so!"
He got up, turning to face her with a grin as heโ
@RejectedInk "Oh, the library? Sounds fun!"
Erebus never faltered, at least not out in public. That ever-present smirk and enthusiasm remained, especially so as he gently pulled Spring off to the library.
"Odd choice of a place to check out the lingerie I bought you, but I don't mind, ifโ
@RejectedInk โmy special brand of spontaneity to the day for you! Japan is yours, my dear, so let's enjoy it to our hearts' content! Anything you want or want to do is on the table. No request is too large!"
Granted, he'd tell her that any day, but he made a special note of telling herโ
@RejectedInk โtray it came from. He'd got most of what he wanted from this trip, so he felt comfortable leaving.
"It wouldn't be too much trouble, would it? To call a cab, I mean."
@RejectedInk Erebus had tilted his head, watching Spring as she seemed deep in thought, admiring her features now that they were so close to each other.
"Hm? Ah, yes, I suppose so. Wouldn't want to put you out any farther."
He smiled, finishing his drink and sitting the cup back on theโ
@RejectedInk โdidn't even get a very good look at them."
He gestured toward the nearest window, where one could still hear the storm raging outside.
"Between the dark and rain and the dark clothes they were wearing, I caught very few details. I'd wager it was just a simple mugging, if I'mโ
