Yesterday, Peskov said: this is no longer a "special military operation" - it is a war.

This statement by an official is yet another step toward a future mobilization in Russia.

What could happen if war is officially declared instead of a "special military operation" ("SMO")?

Instead of partial measures, Russia would launch a mechanism for general (total) mobilization and introduce martial law:

◾️ Putin would have to issue a decree introducing martial law and submit a bill to the Federation Council and the State Duma declaring a state of war.

◾️ The country's borders would be automatically and completely closed to all citizens liable for military duty, preventing them from leaving the country.

◾️ Unlike the "SMO," where the focus is on people with combat experience and in-demand military specialties, a general mobilization would call up all categories of citizens in the reserve, in turn.

Another indirect indication of preparations for a total mobilization is yesterday's news that the Russian defense ministry intends to abolish mandatory medical examinations for contract soldiers and those mobilized to determine their fitness for service. The ministry has already prepared the relevant amendments to the law on military service.

Abolishing military medical examinations would introduce a "presumption of absolute fitness" for everyone subject to mobilization. This would make it possible to mobilize large numbers of Russians and send them to the front lines as quickly as possible.

All Russians who do not want to lose their lives or their health in a criminal war must flee Russia. Right now.

Questo il bilancio delle operazioni di Israele nel Sud del Libano a partire da venerdì 19 giugno durante l'ennesima “tregua” mai entrata in vigore.

I bombardamenti hanno colpito soprattutto il Sud del Paese e la valle della Bekaa, spazzando via intere famiglie e provocando una nuova ondata di sfollati.

Tra gli episodi più gravi registrati sabato 20 giugno l'attacco su Qanaarit, a nord del fiume Zahrani, dove un raid israeliano ha ucciso 9 persone e ne ha ferite 22. La maggior parte delle vittime dell’attacco sono donne e bambini. L'area ospitava famiglie sfollate provenienti dai centri abitati più vicini al confine meridionale. Quattro case sono state rase al suolo e, secondo le testimonianze locali, diverse persone risultavano ancora intrappolate sotto le macerie nelle ore successive al bombardamento.

A Sohmor, nella Bekaa occidentale, sono stati uccisi 4 membri della stessa famiglia: una donna libanese, il marito siriano, la loro figlia e il nipote.

Un'altra famiglia è stata decimata ad Arabsalim, dove hanno perso la vita Ali Nader, sua moglie Leila, il figlio Mahmoud e Jana Hashem, che era incinta.

A Barish un bombardamento dell’IDF ha cancellato un'intera famiglia, compresi due bambini.

La maggior parte dei raid si è concentrata nel distretto di Nabatieh.

Attacchi sono stati segnalati anche a Sohmor, nella Bekaa occidentale, e in numerose località dei distretti di Saida, Tiro e Jezzine.

Dal sud del Libano la reporter @Courtney Bonneau, presente in una delle aree colpite dai bombardamenti, ha raccontato la devastazione provocata dsgli attacchi: “Quasi 50 morti nella giornata di ieri. Americani, le vostre tasse finanziano questo. Sono atti di genocidio”.

A partire dalle 16:00 di sabato 20 giugno, non sono stati segnalati ulteriori attacchi dopo l’ennesimo cessate il fuoco. Secondo l’Orient Today, si tratta del periodo di tregua più lungo registrato negli ultimi 110 giorni.

Dal 2 marzo l’esercito israeliano in Libano ha ucciso oltre 4.000 persone, ferite 12.000, ha costretto oltre 1 milione di persone a sfollare.
