Here's what ya'll men don't understand. Women do not support evil women who rape, kill and steal like ya'll do with men. If she's evil she's gotta go. So to answer your question. Yes.
Men don’t want abortion.
Men don’t want condoms.
Men don’t want vasectomies.
Men don’t want child support.
They just want unlimited access to women’s bodies with zero consequences.
Say it louder.
"menstruation shouldn't be talked about in public"
"No one needs to know you're on your period"
Words of a man who pees and wiggles his penis in public
As a Black woman, I am deeply uninterested in spending the second half of my life proving how much I can endure.
I would like to explore how much joy I can hold.
So let me get this straight…
While women are missing and being murdered, women must pause our fear and outrage to reassure good men” that we know they’re not the bad guys, validate that men are also victims of crime and make sure nobody feels unfairly included in our terror???
Amazing. Even our fear apparently requires male comfort.
Of the reasons why men abuse, visit violence upon and even kill women, is that there is no social cost to the violent and abusive man. His family will still revere him. His friends will not isolate him. His church, political home or any social structure he belongs to will not sanction him. Nothing changes in his life.
I ask: What social consequences should we impose on the men we know who abuse and violate women?? We being you and I. Because until abuse carries a social cost in the form of the loss of respect, acceptance, access and belonging; we must contend with the fact that our silence and continued embrace of abusers enable the very violence we claim to abhor. We are therefore complicit.
Males think they're brave enough to fight a gorilla but in reality they’re not even brave enough to tell their friend to stop making women uncomfortable.
One day we need to talk about how the “boy child left behind” is the same as reverse racism. It's a fake issue that doesn't actually exist. There is no systematic exclusion or disenfranchisement of boy children.
I think adult men created it to excuse their failures in life.
People defend the most ridiculous things with mbu it’s tradition as if tradition exists in a vacuum. Traditions are created, upheld, and shaped by social structures and many of them are deeply rooted in patriarchy and by default they harm women.
A Queen Mother can’t bury her son, a mother can’t be present at bride price negotiations, a mother cannot be present at a daughter’s give away ceremony, a mother acts a certain way in the presence of in-laws, all are these archaic misogynistic norms 🚮
