It’s insane how much better this sequence is shot, edited, and choreographed than almost anything in The Matrix Resurrections. The camera moves with the actors, the cuts match the choreography, and the action actually flows. Outside of the CG effects, it’s mostly practical stuntwork.

And here’s the wild part: the Matrix and John Wick connection runs deep.

Keanu’s stunt double was Chad Stahelski, who later directed the John Wick franchise. Tiger Chen, the guy Neo takes out last here, later appeared in John Wick 3. Keanu and Tiger are also friends, and Keanu directed Man of Tai Chi, starring Tiger.

The fight choreography was done by the legendary Yuen Woo-ping, and Randal Duk Kim, who plays the Keymaker, later played the Continental doctor in John Wick.

So much talent went into this trilogy.

Pirates confirm key absentee ahead of Sekhukhune clash

Orlando Pirates will host Sekhukhune United at Orlando Amstel Arena this afternoon in the third meeting between the sides in just one week, but without some of their key players.

The Buccaneers enter the MTN8 semi-final second leg holding a 1-0 advantage from the first encounter. Pirates will be determined to protect their lead and book their place in the final on home soil.

However, the hosts will have to cope without some important players. Andre de Jong remains sidelined as he continues his recovery from a strain and is nearing a return to full fitness.

Bafana Bafana defender Nkosinathi Sibisi is also unavailable for selection. The Pirates medical team confirmed that Sibisi is still recovering from the knock he suffered in the first leg. He missed Tuesday's league meeting against Sekhukhune as well.

Sbangani Zulu replaced him and impressed in his opportunity. The new recruit could therefore feature again this afternoon.
