I remember very well the Tanzim, an offshoot of Arafat’s PLO.

It was a terror unit led by Marwan Barghouti. Their mission was to hide being large rocks on highway 443, a road from Jerusalem to Modein and shoot at cars.

They murdered many innocent families - men, woman and children, over a two year period from around 2002.

Many Tanzim terrorists were eventually killed but Barghouti surrendered to the IDF while being surrounded in a hide out. After a trial, he was found guilty and convicted for four life sentences.

Barghouti remains behind bars after all these years, as that time was a period of dozens and dozens of successful suicide bombings against Israelis, multiple shootings, and other terrorist attacks that left more than a 1000 civilians dead and tens of thousands injured and mentally traumatised.

Today at Parliament Square in Westminster, pro palestinian activists, erected a statue of Barghouti, a man linked to so much bloodshed, grief and death.

These extreme, radicalised, Islamists and socialists, believe “he was a great hero.”

He was a mass murderer and remains a mass murderer or innocent civilians.
