Today we remember.
Yesterday our school council visited Stockton’s Garden of Remembrance, it was a wonderful event that we were very honoured to attend. Our school council laid poppy crosses on behalf of their class.
We join the nation and express our deepest sympathies for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
May you rest in peace, Your Majesty. Thank you for incredible service. Please see our Facebook page for how you can pay your respects.
Today is the funeral of Lynsey Tanner one of our much-loved lunchtime assistants who sadly passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Our love and thoughts go out to her family today.
Throughout school today the children have been showing their respects in many different ways, including our time for reflection at 11am. Some of our children walked to Nevern Crescent to show their respects and lay a poppy wreath.
Thank you for all your kind harvest donations. We have been able to send food parcels to various local food banks and a cheque for £460 to the Trussell Trust. Wishing all our families a happy half term.
Wow Lewis, what an amazing letter, you used your ‘extra time’ this morning wisely. As a school we are very proud of our England Players and manager. #GarethSouthgate#proud
If your child is a football fan and likely to be staying up until after 11pm on Sunday to watch the Final, then let them stay in bed a bit longer and get to school by 10.30am on Monday.
School will still start at 8:30 – 9.00 but children arriving up to 10.30 won’t be marked late
