@Rh_Garner @ohayitscpa I’m sorry but if they’re scared of getting fired for standing up for animal welfare they’re in the wrong business. We’re talking about people who actively chose to work at one of the worst aquariums/marine parks in the USA and actively ignored violations of the Animal Welfare Act
I wish certain people could just focus on Tokitae, the one who suffered and died, than give sympathy to the people that were complicit in her suffering. The very same trainers who “loved and cared” for her also fed her rotten fish. They didn’t do right by her by any means.
@ohayitscpa USDA says otherwise, attending ex-vet says otherwise. Are you gonna claim her food was never cut too? That doing so didn’t impact her blood work? That she didn’t live in a structurally dangerous and filthy tank? She was failed repeatedly by those you say “loved” her.
@fluked_ Ignoring Phil, is respect actually warranted? Have you read the USDA report? It’s riddled with abuse. Some caretakers deserve respect, those at MSQ absolutely do not. Stand up for the animals, don’t defend blatant negligence.
Seaworld supporters: seeing captive animals just really increases my love and respect for wild animals and has made me a conservationist 🥰🥰
Also seaworld supporters:
Just wondering how many more of these whales have to die prematurely before people realise they are not suitable for captivity and “world class veterinary care” cannot change that.
Rest in peace, Kohana. You will be sorely missed 💔

Is there a way to change your feed so only retweets/tweets from people you follow are shown?
The amount of random rubbish on my feed from accs I don’t follow just because someone I do follow liked it is unreal and grinds my gears.
Pls spare me from this misery
Immediate reaction: me me me me me
Not a single thought or consideration for Toki's actual wellbeing or what this may mean for her. It's like they don't even pretend to care about the animals anymore.
So what do we think about this theory circulating that MSQ are intentionally trying to make Toki sick & subsequently pass away for insurance money?
Not asking to add weight to the theory, just interested in opinions 🙂
