@kzyw8a @fuckcriscuit AttSwap is weird to me because it allows some incredibly BROKEN interactions (which is unfun to be the receiving end). But balancing it is impossible without turning it into an incredibly unintuitive unexplained feature. AttSwap should be an experimental feature at most

@fuckcriscuit Im gonna larp pvp but from a simple viewpoint, I think having an easily accessible overpowered technique easily overshadows the many creative techniques I've seen for other pvps. It's the same way on how something META needs to be nerfed, even if most enjoy it.

@kzyw8a @fuckcriscuit It was just very bad wording on my part, but I'd say that something being meta does limit the enjoyment of the game in most cases. Obviously, there are gonna be times that it won't, but in most cases, it restricts options or keeps things repetitive which feels obviously unfun.

@CuddlefishCull @AsumSucks @SleepiQueen Attribute Swapping is a "Feature" that nobody that has a "normal life" knows, and you see its problems when people start getting 3 shotted by breach swapping in SMPs. It's much easier to add a plugin for pvp servers rather than a plugin for EVERY OTHER SERVER.

@fuckcriscuit not to mention it's a bug that directly affects another person, unlike other ones. Like yeah, someone else is the receiving end of your mysterious spear reach hacks and mysterious armor penetration in SMPs.

@fuckcriscuit My biggest problem with it is that it plays such a big role despite it being completely impossible to discover without learning the bug from someone else. Mojang could try to make it a feature, but realistically, how would that work? It's so out of place

@BLUET0NES The new drop is definitely one of the better drops, but it could potentially (and pattern recognition,most likely will.) have the problem of modern biomes being extremely rare in a game that hardly rewards exploration (and hot take: would also discourage players from it)

@BLUET0NES Updates benefit them so I wouldn't say "Free" because minecraff would slowly die without updates. I think the problem is that there's many problems that plague minecraft's existing features that they don't fix when it should be easier to just fix them rather than adding more

@fuckcriscuit a weird feature that is not communicated at all. Like "Hey if you hit and swap on the same tick to do this, but we're not gonna hint it to you at all." Like I feel like that's the problem. Crystal PVP, Minecart PVP, all are technically recreatable through imagination, this? Eh.

@fuckcriscuit talking about attribute swapping without breach swapping is weird because it obviously is a part of it. The only cases of Att Swapping I usually see are Breach Swapping and the one with the spear. I don't know how Mojang would balance it without turning it into

@fuckcriscuit also, minecraft has the beautiful feature of being able to stay on older versions so like people can just do a "1.8" and stay on 26.1 (and I really doubt Mojang would add anything combat related any time soon)

@ThatCoolOscar @PotholedSea40 @extra4real_ are you gonna mention that tnt dupers have really limited movement and that it's destruction is actually quite pitiful so it's much better to build a tnt cannon, which you know, would require you to craft a lot of tnt, or will you ignore the flaws in your own argument
