@bperry_writes For me, reading is a great hobby then life gets to be living too much and reading becomes an escape and I know Iβm in trouble when life is too much and I just canβt handle additional, albeit fictional, conflict. My reading breaks are usually a mental health warning sign.
@clemmiegirlnz I've found it so hard to write since covid so I relate. I know you have a head and heart full of stories so I will not be surprised if you return to writing but you're a person before you're an author. There's a lot of needs that have to be met for there to be time and desire to
@KayAyDrew Lovely but you keep making me think the book is out then I check and it's so long to wait!
I complain as if I don't pre-order books, await impatiently, add them to the tbr, then read 6 months later. π
@laurcunn Itβs true.
So sorry I have all this money.
Sorry I canβt come to your party, Iβll be in Hawaii for the next month.
Sorry but I have to quit this job. That lotto money wonβt spend itself.
@clemmiegirlnz Yikes. And I bet they are claiming they are making things better for everyday folks. What do you say instead of folks in NZ. Everyday kiwis? Anyway they always claim to be helping while screwing over workers. Hope you get some rest n there too.
@laurcunn I was a hater. Not that I would try to convince anyone not to like it but some of his phrasing threw me and the riddles seemed oddly easy for guarding the greatest secret in the world. It was a page turner for sure but the only one I read from him.
@mxcarmilla Yeah. I relate. Not exactly the same but I am jealous of people who talk about how their younger selves would be proud. Mine would be horrified.
