@tribeirishgin Did the gin experience with Kieran yesterday and it was absolutely brilliant. One of the best things we’ve ever done. As a collector of gin with nearly 400 bottles we put these amongst the nicest we’ve tried.

@kevinmarkham One last thing. According to the WGHI, MP is listed as a harder course than Tralee. I can say with absolute certainty this is not the case lol

@kevinmarkham Played Tralee on Friday and Mahonys Point on Saturday. 2 very different courses and 2 very different experiences.

@kevinmarkham Little things about MP. No maps or hole indexes on the tee boxes (which were rock hard and you had to force your tee in to) Just a brick in the ground with the distance in metres. I don’t want to keep criticising it but we paid €75 each. Really not worth it at all.

@kevinmarkham Tralee was a privilege to play. Everything from the staff to the course was outstanding.
Mahonys Point was below average. The fairways were bare and rock hard. Apart from the 18th hole it was very overpriced and forgettable unfortunately. In my opinion you pay for scenery.

Played @traleegolflinks on Friday. It was an absolute privilege. Best course i’ve ever been played. Definitely plan to go back.

@LouStagner Lou, big fan of the podcast. All the courses mentioned are the elite ones but half the fun is finding a hidden gem at a reasonable price. Arklow GC is a fantastic course and it’s only about an hour from Dublin. Concra Wood is a real challenge too.
