@welovesweetboy_ Roose had a royal order.
In fact, Joffrey / Tommen made Ramsay a Bolton. Roose had no such power.
Corlys needs Rhaenyera to make Alyn and Adam Velaryon. Only the queen can make them his heirs
@warrie2021 He has Joffrey, third son of Rhaenyera and Laenor / Harwin. He is supposed to sail to Pentos with the last two children of the queen and Daemon.
@pascaliito Robert and Ned were raised together.
The mad king killed Ned's father and brother, then asked for Ned's and Robert's head.
The Starks made an oath to Rhaenyera and she never betrayed them. The mad king did (and it was believed that Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna Stark)
@Ofcimcold He might be, but I think the reason is much simplier : the guy is the maester of the castle, so Aemond suspected him of helping Aegon to walk and leave.
Hard time to be a medic in HOTD
@nobodyfwD The Triarchy would have won and their admiral might have come out alive.
The Velaryon fleet is much smaller in the show than in the book, when the Triarchy fleet is much larger.
Without the dragons, the Triarchy slaugthers the blacks and Corlys' defeat is written.
@BIG_TRAKAS Drogon is much larger than Vermax (he is nearly as big as Meleys).
Drogon and Dany are battle hardened when Vermax and Jace were untested.
Vermax was struck by a harpoon linked to an anchor (he might have been able to keep flying without the aditional weight).
@Symply_rhoda1 It depends what you mean by "worst".
If you mean a well writen character, Ramsay is my pick.
If you mean a bad character, i chose Euron (dogsh*t character)
@angryngYut Redwyne, Greyjoy or Velaryon.
I'm a guy from the sea and these are the 3 family with the strongest fleets.
But if I have to choose only one, i go for the Redwyne (and island in the south, rich, makers of fine wines and hard to attack)
@SiezerW Targaryan aren't immune to fire.
Daenerys is an exception (and it only happened once in the book, with a lot of elements pointing toward the fact that she can still be burned)
@Daykerpriest He had no dragon egg.
It is also speculated that Daenerys' eggs hatched due to the magic created by khal Drogo's funeral (especialy the sacrifice of the witch).
@Tempo_ae Both Aegons are the trueborn male heirs.
The main issue is the parentage : the council of 101 stated that the line of succession passes throught the males, but Rhaenyera is the heir chosen by Viserys. She can't be queen, but it's hard to deny her trueborn son's claim
@fw_Badman She had the biggest dragon available. The only one, in fact : Rhaenyera is to precious to risk her life, Jace rides a small dragon and Daemon is away.
@lorxell Rhaenyera's kids took his eye
Rhaenyera's kids challenged his birth right (second son of the king, possible heir to the throne, ...)
Aegon was just being a terrible big brother, but he never hit Aemond
Alicent might also have conviced him that Rhaenyra's children were to blame
@Lairdphoenix27 They are governed by a 2 years old during the dance.
The Tyrell, even in GOT, are less rich than the Hightower. The Hightower are central in the dance.
@TheVsk_ In the book, there is no concrete proof that the "strong boys" were actually bastards (long story short : Laenor is white and Rhaenys has black hairs), so silver hairs would only have proven they are legitimate. Still, the main issue was that Rhaenyra was a woman.
