This app has become such a dumpster fire. Nothing but trolls, bigots, crypto shills, rage-baiters, pr0n bots and scam ads all fighting for clicks. Was fun while it lasted but now I spend more time scrolling past shitposts than engaging content.

@Rbeatty90 @Ajora770636 @SeaOfThieves They give away capstans every couple weeks on the forums though the "capture a code" contest. It's not as rare as you think.
๐ตHe sees you when you're tucking,
even when you're in disguise.
He knows you snuck that keg on board and now you have to die.
You better not run.
You better not cry.
You're better off if you just scuttle, my guy.
Santa Clause is sinking you now.๐ต

@loinbread@TheJackieB 9/10 still leaves a good margin for error and if they found an issue after already announcing the update schedule then it's whatever. I'd rather they take a few extra days to iron things out than push it to retail and hear people whining online about another buggy update.
Today's update was delayed in order to prioritise game integrity following a high impact issue being discovered. Our team has identified a fix for this and we are now targeting early next week for the launch of the November update. Thank you for your understanding, pirates.
@jmitchell086 The "high impact issue" was discovered last minute after the update schedule was announced.
Unfortunate timing, yeah, but that's all it is. I'm not gonna get mad at Rare over it. If anything I'm glad to see them catching stuff before it hits retail and being transparent about it.
@beturne@dastickofglue@SeaOfThieves I try to help where I can. I don't expect most people to want to mentor new players for nothing in return though, hence why I suggested incentives. Just something to get the ball rolling on a larger scale.
